Blessed before Commanded​

Before God gave man instructions, He gave him identity and blessing.

Man was created in the image of God—already empowered, already favored, and already equipped. The commands to be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, subdue it, and have dominion were not requirements to earn something, but instructions to express what was already given.
