Declared Identity

Before Jesus began His public ministry, God publicly declared His identity: "This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased." Immediately afterward, the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness, where Satan's first strategy was not to attack His power, but to question His identity: "If You are the Son of God..." Jesus never tried to prove who He was; instead, He stood firmly on the Word of God. This teaches us that the enemy often attacks what God has already declared, but victory comes when we remain anchored in God's truth rather than the enemy's accusations.
